PART I - New School Year, New School Resolutions
There was this boy. Adventurous, exciting, spontaneous yet timid and naive. He was this boy who never could get a girl. They 'plated' him as nice. 'Nice'. He was 'that kinda guy', who helped out whenever he can with whatever he could. He never asked for anything in return. He had good friends, and still does. He and his friends would do the craziest things together. They'd play truth or dare in a restaurant and do the most dumbest things. Break dancing in the restaurant, sit there and talk to themselves, even flirted with other girls, sending them notes from table to table :P It was all fun and games.
It was the new school year.
One day, he decided to actually do something with his school life. For the past 3 years he has been in high school, he was only the class monitor for his First Year. After that, it had been all quiet. Him and his three friends. The craziest things. And no one could break them apart. I am really getting out of topic here. WOW. So one day, he decided to join the Board of Librarians in his school. Figured its time to contribute. After hanging around the waiting room, his name was finally called. The interview began. *10 minutes later* The interview ended.
"So I'll have to wait 'till next week..... sure...." he said to himself.
The next week was much of a hell hole. Teachers were not in good moods. Classes were noisy. He didn't feel like paying attention either. A senior came up to the front door... or what looked like a senior asked for the teacher. She turned to face the boy and nodded her head.
"Everett Saloman. Get out here. He wants to see you."
Everett Saloman. What all the girls call nice these days. He stood up, and walked towards the teacher and she nodded. Clarifying that he could leave the classroom, as if she's actually teaching. He walked towards the guy. A friend he knew. They used to be in the same club.
"Everett! Here's your confirmation letter. Don't look at me man, I don't know whether he passed you or not" said Landon.
"Oh hey! Thanks man. You sure you don't know? You could tell me now, you know? Save me the trouble from throwing this 'lovely' piece of parchment." said Everett
"Nah, suspense. I just love it! Good luck man."
"Thanks man"
Everett walked back to his seat. His teacher was grinning at him. He thought 'YES! I MADE IT.' Well what do you know? He opened the letter, slowly pulling it out revealing line by line.

Mr. Everett Saloman,
RE: APPLICATION AS A LIBRARIAN
The Executive Committee and the Council, in concurrence with the Adviser, are glad to inform you that you have been successful in your interview.
2. You are invited to the monthly General Meeting this Friday (22nd June) in the Arts Lecture Theater at 12.45 p.m..
Thank you.
Jumped sky high? Oh yeah. That happy boy. Pleased with the results, he just continued concentrating in the class... or trying to concentrate... Whatever, he was too happy to care. After school, he told his friends about the news. Apparently, Jason, one of the three of Everett's friends, also passed the interview. Now the four of them had something to contribute to the school. Remus and Jeff were in the Board of Disciplinarians. Those two were never discipline themselves. Wonder how they got in.

After school, Jason and Everett walked to the Arts Lecture Theater for their meeting. The Council made the new incomings take an oath. Everett and Jason both looked at each other trying their best not to laugh. Oaths were not really their thing. I mean, 3 years joking around, not following the rules (not really, the minor ones are breakable and overlook-able), not listening to teachers (then again, not really), and sleeping in class (that's a major), oaths were kind of cliche. But, an oath is an oath. They had to take it. They were each given a badge. Everett looked at his. 'Cool', he thought. 'LIBRARIAN'. They were supposed to wear the badge as a token of appreciation. But we all know that's the only pass to get up to the library without a student card right? Everett really wanted to take this thing seriously and still maintaining the four of them as a group. Before the meeting ended, the Council thought it'd be fun to hand each of the new incomings a booklet. It had the resemblance to the exam papers.

First day on the job. This is going to be fun Everett thought. He heard about how librarians did their job differently from the disciplinarians. He could see why. Librarians were the more friendly ones, they were actually allowed to smile on the job, talk to them (not too much of course), there aren't any 'fine systems' or 'demerit systems' which you would get in the hallway or in the canteen. Best part? No discipline teachers. But then there was Mr. Flitwick, he was a cool teacher when he isn't teaching. Like a Dad to all them librarians. And the best part? He's teaching Everett calculus. Oh, how he hated that subject. He didn't hate Mr. Flitwick. Mr. Flitwick was a cool teacher and all, but the subject was just tough. Numbers, alphabets, fractions, algebra, trigonometry. You name it, the text book has probably killed off another students brain off of it. Getting back to the point.... The first day of duty was good. Sitting down with a file and tallying the number of students that walk in. Not to say the job wasn't easy, it was better than getting hated on in the hallway for giving students a fine for long hair or long nails or even bad attitude. He liked this job.
A girl walked in. She had curly long hair tied like a pony tail. Except it was curly, of course. She was pretty, Everett thought. Cute smile, beautiful eyes, a cute nose. A little short over his height but she was the prettiest girl Everett did ever see. Though she had some resemblance to his classmate, but he remembered he only had a little brother. She walked to the counter to get papers photocopied and left. He recognized the librarian badge when she turned. He just smiled, she smiled back and walked off. Shrugging off the thought of her, he went back to his duty. The bell rang at the exact moment she walked out the door. Everett smiled for no apparent reason. After the briefing, he walked back to class. Oh to joy, history class.
As weeks went by, Everett did his duty well, if I do say so myself. He passed by the girl with her curly hair a couple of times with her friend. She's a little taller than the curly haired girl. Had short hair. Everett just waved and smile whenever she passes by, and both of them would wave back to him. Follow suite. Then came the week where Everett had a week left to finish his Annual Signature Quest. He slacked off on that and he didn't even notice. Julius, just moved in from Rome, came here to study English. He was a nice guy, besides Jason who has been Everett's friend long before they joined the Board of Librarians. Julius was the first he met when he joined. Julius helped Everett with his Signature Quest paper. He got quite a handful. Everett was thankful for Julius for helping him. He would have been toasted if he handed in an empty paper with no signatures. On the second last day, Alex, Everett's really 'go-a-long-time-back' friend, helped him to find two of his seniors, Annabeth and Veanne. Alex agreed he'd help Everett to get their signatures if only Everett follows Alex to go and find them. Year 7, Accounts Class 3. This isn't gonna be hard at all he thought. Alex talked to their teacher and told her Everett's situation. The teacher agreed.
"Annabeth, Veanne. These two boys are here to see you."
Annabeth and Veanne stood up and walked out of class, the teacher just nodding her head. Everett was surprised when they walked out. Everett just did the only thing he could think of. Smile and wave. Smile and wave.
"Whattaya want, Alex?" asked Veanne.
"Dont ask me, ask hi-" said Alex. Everett cut him off just by rolling his eyes.
"He wants your signature, he didn't knew you two 'till I told him. After I did, he still didn't know" Alex continued
"So, you don't know us and you want our signatures eh? Annabeth, I think we should make a forfeit for him don't ya think?" asked Veanne.
"Yeah, we should. What do you think? What's your name by the way?" replied Annabeth.
"Oh.. uhmm.... I'm cool with anything, really....." Everett spoke.
"Okay. Since camp is in two days, present both of us with chocolates." Veanne said.
"Alright then. Would you sign my paper now?"
"Okay."
